STROBILANTHES MACULATA - Also known as " Brazilian Shield" or "Green Shield" . Serrated lancelote olive green leaves that are highlited with white to silver dots or slashes on both sides of the midrib. Small purple tubular flowers that fade to white at base. Grows 2-3' tall, pinching will encourage branching and a compact growth. Likes shade, warmth, humidity, rich moist soil. Rich green lush foliage makes a great houseplant or accents in shady container gardening. Hardy zone 9-11. We grow and ship in 4" pots.
