SALVIA HYBRID - PURPLE STEM - A summer to fall flowering hybrid, hardy in zone 8-9. Grown mostly as an annual, deep purple stems 3-4' tall , covered with spikes of cobalt blue flowers, each having white beelines and dusky gray calyxes. It loves and thrives on heat, is drought resistant, and attracts butterflies and hummingbirds. Most attractive and unusual are the deep purple stems. We grow and ship in 4" pots.
