ANANAS BROMELIAD - ANANAS COMOSUS - VARIEGATED PINEAPPLE SWEET STRIPES - A beautiful variegated pineapple that is hardy in zones 9-11. Green and white striped leaves up to 2-3' long. Likes full sun to part shade , lots of water, and well drained soil. May be grown in a container, maturing at 30" tall. Very Sweet fruit. Flowers are purple to pink red in late winter to early spring. The variegated foliage is outstanding. We grow and ship in 4 1/2" (quart) pots.
