PACHYSTACHY'S COCCINEA - Also known as Brazilian Plume, Justicia Coccinea, Giant Red Shrimp. A showy tropical, great for semi shady containers. Beautiful deep green foliage on a robust plant - produces pine cone like scarlet red blooms with green bracts up to 8" long. Needs adequate moisture, temps above 45 degrees. Repeat blooms intermittantly during summer. Grows 4-5' talls. Hardy zone 9-10. Likes good rich soil and responds to monthly feeding. We grow and ship in 4" pots.
