SILPHIUM PERFOLIATUM - CUP PLANT - INDIAN CUP PLANT - The leaves form "cups" on the stem; these cups will hold water from which birds will drink. In large stands of cup plant, birds will take refuge from the sun and heat by hiding in the foliage. Grows 6-8' tall. Great for Birds, pollinators, rain gardens, bees, butterflies
Bloom time: July - September. Spectacular foliage having square stems and pairs of cup-forming leaves that hold water after a rain. 3" Soft yellow flowers bloom July to Frost atop stout square stems. Hardy zone 3-9 We grow and ship in 4 1/2" pots.
