PIMENTA RACEMOSA- CARYOPHYLLUS RACMOSUS - BAY RUM TREE - A relative to allspice, the leaves contain an aromatic oil similar to clove oil, used in perfumes. Small white flowers resemble cotton candy, followed by non edible black fruit. The leaves may be used in cooking and teas. Slow growing columnar tree maturing to 20 feet. Likes sun to lt shade.
