SISYRINCHIUM QUAINT & QUEER - A dwarf iris relative hardy in zone 6-8. Growing 6"-8" tall with clumps of flat narrow linear iris like green grassy tufts. Likes sun and slightly alkaline soil. Flowering in May and June with 1/2" starry flowers of apricot brown with maroon throats. Some may call it chocolate colored. Great for use in rockery, alpines, and trough planters. - Reviews
