CLUSIA LANCEOLATA - A native of Brazil, this variety blooms intermittently all year. Likes sun to lt shade and moderately moist. . Hardy zone 10-12. The 3" lance shaped green leaves are leathery and arranged in a whorl like a propeller. Showy 2" waxy white china petals with dark red centers are followed by interesting fruit that resembles tiny watermelons. It is salt tolerant. May be maintained at 2' in containers. This species is unique in that it belongs to the only genus of plants capable of absorbing carbon dioxide during the night. We grow and ship in 4" pots. - Reviews
