Nepenthes Coccinea - better known as the Lidded Pitcher Plant has wide fleshy leaves producing the most unusual pitcher like vessels at the tips of each leaf. These pitches are green and mottled with red, containing a liquid pepsin witch attracts insects. The insects drown in the liquid and is digested by the plant. They perfer warmthe and humidity, bright light,and protection for direct sun.
