Also known as West Indian Ebony. A semi decidous tree with gracefully arching branches that transform into a fountain of gold when flowering. Likes sun and well drained moist soil. drought tolerant when established. Ornamental and a source of dense blackwood. Hardy zone 10. Can be a good subject to Bonsai.
