MYRSINE AFRICANA - AFRICAN BOXWOOD - CAPE MYRTLE - A superb evergreen foliage plant with Deep red stems with nearly round shiny, deep green leaves. Most often found as cut foliage for arrangements. Full sun to light shade in a protected location. Good with Rhododendrons. Foliage may temporarily be damaged by 15 °F or lower. Regular water in well drained soil. Handsome year round. To 4' tall and as wide in time Hardy zone 8-11. Cream color flowers. Great for low hedges, topiary or bonsai. These plants are grown and shipped in 4" pots and are in a pre-bonsai form. - Reviews
